Favorite Foto Friday

The theme for the week for FFF is "Friends". Since mommy has been a slacker lately on blogging and picture taking we are only posting one "friend" picture and dedicating it to one of Aiden's besties. Aiden is going to be sooooo lost when Dominique and big sis leave in a few weeks...not to mention its gonna kill mommy. This picture was taken at the 4-H fair when Kels and Dom took Aiden. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Not sure what me and Kels were thinking about or even doing in this picture but for some reason we both have the same expression on our faces..LOL. This picture was taken on the Navy Pier in Chicago when we were there last weekend looking for apartments. Yes we did find one but we are now waiting until Monday to see if a third person is able to move in with them so that they can afford to live...if not they are going to have to stay home. Please pray for my sanity during this transition of the unknown and my little girl growing up...it seems to really be testing my patience. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

The theme for the week for FFF is "Red, White and Blue". We spent our 4th with family and friends fighting the raindrops. We had a fun filled day hanging out, swimming, eating lots and lots of junk food and of course doing boom booms as Aiden calls them. The shirt says it all.

Fishing with Daddy

Daddy took Aiden on his first fishing trip today while mommy and Kelsey hung out together(mommy is trying to spend as much time with Kelsey as she can before she leaves). Daddy said Aiden seemed to really enjoy it and they had a very good time hanging out together. As you will see in the picture that follow Aiden did catch a fish and someone else also did too...I am sure daddy will claim the big one...LOL.

Favorite Foto Friday

The theme for FFF this week set by Sarah was " Shake Your Groove Thing" and since we only have dancing on the video camera I thought I would post two of my other faves. The first picture is of Kelsey at her and Dom's graduation party with two of their other fellow graduates. I picked this because Kelsey is actually smiling and I haven't seen that smile this week because of her having surgery on her knee. She is doing ok but very sore and of course aggravated because she isn't out doing her typical teenage things. I keep warning her that she has to get better before next Friday because her, Dom and I are off to IL to pick out their apartment they will live in for school....ugghhh...scary. Please no bashing for letting them live together. I figure after 4 years of them being together and with going away to school I wouldn't know what all she was doing anyway so I just have to trust her to make the best decisions regardless of the living arrangements. My baby is growing up and this momma doesn't like it.
